Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Create and develop menus that align with the restaurant’s concept and target audience
- Ensure the highest quality of food is consistently delivered to customers
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Manage inventory and control food costs to maximize profitability
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with the restaurant management team to plan and execute special events or catering functions
- Stay updated on industry trends and new culinary techniques to continuously improve menu offerings
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary trends, and flavor profiles
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of dietary restrictions and ability to accommodate special requests or dietary needs
- Familiarity with kitchen management software and inventory control systems is a plus
Skills:
- Food preparation: Proficient in preparing a variety of dishes using different cooking techniques
- Hospitality: Provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming dining experience for guests
- Supervising: Ability to lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff members

- Catering: Experience in planning and executing catering events, ensuring high-quality food and service delivery
- Shift management: Ability to effectively manage kitchen operations during different shifts or busy periods
- Kitchen management: Strong organizational skills to maintain cleanliness, order, and efficiency in the kitchen
- Food handling: Knowledge of proper food handling and safety procedures to ensure food quality and prevent contamination
- Team management: Ability to train, mentor, and motivate kitchen staff members to achieve high performance
