We are seeking a talented and passionate Head Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and culinary arts, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to food safety and quality. As the Head Chef, you will play a crucial role in supporting the General Manager in executing the daily running of the Mediterranean Tapas restaurant and food operations, ensuring that our dishes are prepared to the highest standards while fostering a positive and efficient working environment.

EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary trends, and food safety regulations.
• Experience in supervising and managing kitchen staff effectively.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
• A passion for culinary arts and a desire to help others grow within the kitchen team.

• Assist the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations and food preparation.
• Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth workflow.
• Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are maintained at all times.
• Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes in accordance with restaurant standards.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and improve existing recipes.
• Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste.
• Train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
• Help maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area.
