WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• Experience in commercial cookery (large-scale or aged care preferred)
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Cert III or IV in Commercial Cookery
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations
• Police Check or NDIS Worker Screening
• Queensland Driver’s Licence

HEAD CHEF – COOK WITH PURPOSE, LEAD WITH HEART

Location: St Andrew’s Aged Care, Tallebudgera QLD
Type: Fixed-Term - Full-Time (Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm)
Contract: Maternity Leave Cover – Mid-July 2025 to August 2026
Salary: $32.18 - $33.26 per hour + Super +$15,990 Salary Packaging + Staff Perks

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Run your own kitchen and oversee 72 covers per service
• Lead and support a dedicated kitchen team
• Design innovative, resident-informed menus
• Ensure food safety, hygiene, and compliance standards
• Manage stock, budgets, and cost controls
• Collaborate with care teams to meet dietary needs
• Act as Food Safety Officer and drive continuous improvement
