Expressions of interest for Head Chef position starting early in January 2026

Marchesa, an intimate 24 seat trattoria in Kyneton, is searching for a hands on cook to cover all sections in the Head Chef role.

• We use produce from local small scale farmers to construct a seasonal Italian inspired menu
• Independently owned restaurant with professional, experienced FOH team
• Located in the Macedon Ranges, an hour from Melbourne CBD

Our simple Italian inspired, seasonal menu features hand made pasta, locally shot game, ethically farmed animals, organically grown fruit and vegetables.
The right person will work closely with the FOH manager/owner, maintaining and elevating the already consistent standard in the kitchen.
The successful applicant would be passionate about the industry with experience in Italian cuisine.
May suit Sous Chef looking to advance career or experienced Head Chef looking for a tree change.
A work week of 4 to 5 days on salary for 40 hour week with paid overtime and tips.
