Their vision is to create a modern, stylish venue where guests can enjoy delicious Indian food, expertly crafted cocktails, and great music — all under one roof. With a dedicated cocktail bar, resident DJ, and regular events and private parties, this new venue will offer a dynamic experience that celebrates both exceptional cuisine and lively nightlife. Our client is now seeking a passionate and experienced Indian Head Chef to lead the kitchen team and help establish this new venture as one of West London’s must-visit destinations. Key Responsibilities Design and deliver a modern Indian menu that combines authentic flavours with creative presentation. Manage, train, and inspire the kitchen team to consistently deliver high-quality dishes and smooth service. Collaborate with management and bar teams to create cohesive food and cocktail pairings, as well as special event menus. Ensure every dish meets the restaurant’s standards for taste, presentation, and portion consistency. Oversee daily kitchen operations, stock control, supplier relationships, and food cost management. Maintain full compliance with food hygiene and safety regulations (HACCP). Requirements Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in an Indian restaurant. Deep understanding of regional Indian cuisines, ingredients, and cooking techniques. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team. A creative approach to menu design, with excellent attention to presentation and guest appeal. Excellent organisational and financial management abilities.
