We’re searching for a talented and experienced Head Chef to lead our busy brunch and lunch restaurant.
At Peaberry Coffee House & Kitchen, we believe that brunch and lunch are more than just meals – they’re experiences. As our Head Chef, you’ll be instrumental in shaping these experiences, from menu conceptualization to plate presentation.
As our Head Chef, you’ll be the heart of our kitchen. Your responsibilities will include:
* Menu Development & Innovation: Design, develop, and execute creative and seasonal brunch and lunch menus that align with our restaurant’s concept and appeal to our diverse clientele. Stay ahead of culinary trends and introduce new techniques and ingredients.
* Kitchen Leadership & Management: Oversee all kitchen operations during shifts, ensuring smooth service, efficient workflow, and adherence to the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
* Team Supervision & Training: Lead, motivate, and mentor a dedicated kitchen team. Conduct training sessions, manage staff schedules, and foster a positive and productive work environment.
* Quality Control: Maintain stringent standards for food preparation, cooking techniques, portion control, and presentation. Ensure all dishes meet our high expectations before leaving the pass.
* Inventory & Cost Management: Oversee ordering, inventory control, and waste management to ensure optimal food costs and profitability.
* Health & Safety Compliance: Uphold and enforce all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations, ensuring a clean and safe kitchen environment.
* Collaboration: Work closely with the General Manager and other kitchen leaders to ensure seamless operations and consistent culinary excellence across all services.
