Position: Full-Time Head Chef
Location: Bridge Brewing Pemberton, North Vancouver
Salary: $60,000 per year (based on experience) + tip share
Hours: Flexible, including evenings and weekends, based on business needs

    About Bridge Brewing Pemberton
    Bridge Brewing is thrilled to announce the grand opening of our new brewery and lounge in the vibrant Pemberton area of North Vancouver. With a 136-person capacity, our venue will specialize in artisanal pizzas while offering a diverse menu of elevated pub fare, paired with our signature craft beers. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Head Chef with a focus on pizza craftsmanship to lead our kitchen and bring our culinary vision to life.

Responsibilities

  • Menu Development: Design and refine a dynamic menu featuring artisanal pizzas and complementary dishes, incorporating seasonal and local ingredients.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor kitchen staff to deliver consistent, high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee weekly inventory counts, manage food costs, and ensure adherence to company standards and procedures.
  • Quality Control: Ensure every dish meets exceptional quality and presentation standards before leaving the kitchen.
  • Kitchen Management: Supervise opening, closing, and cleaning procedures to maintain a safe and organized workspace.
  • Innovation: Introduce creative specials and menu updates to keep the dining experience fresh and exciting.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Pizza Expertise: Proven experience crafting high-quality, artisanal pizzas with a deep understanding of dough, sauces, and innovative toppings.
  • Leadership & Communication: Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and coach a team while maintaining exceptional customer service.
