We’re seeking an experienced and passionate full-time Head Chef to lead our kitchen operations and deliver outstanding dining experiences across multiple outlets. In this leadership role, you’ll oversee the kitchen team, design seasonal menus, manage budgets, and ensure the highest standards of food quality and safety. You’ll collaborate closely with the Food & Beverage Manager and Resort leadership team to create unforgettable culinary experiences for our guests. Your day-to-day impact Lead and inspire the kitchen team, ensuring high standards of food quality and hygiene. Design seasonal menus with the F&B Manager, focusing on fresh and local produce. Manage budgets, cost control, supplier relationships, and ordering. Oversee preparation, cooking, and presentation of all dishes. Recruit, train, roster, and develop kitchen staff to achieve excellence. Ensure compliance with WHS, food safety, and licensing requirements. Actively review guest feedback and implement service improvements. Prepare detailed management reports on kitchen and outlet performance. What you’ll bring to the team Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (essential); additional cookery training desirable. Proven experience as a Head Chef or senior kitchen leader in hotels, resorts, or large-scale operations. Strong background in menu development, cost control, and supplier management. Experience supervising, training, and developing kitchen teams. Excellent communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills. Knowledge of WHS and food safety standards, with a commitment to compliance. National Police Clearance required.
