HEAD CHEF

Full Time – 48 hours per week (4/5 days over 7)
Salary: Up to £48,000 per annum + Tronc
Our client is a prestigious destination hotel in North Yorkshire, celebrated for its outstanding hospitality and innovative dining experiences. With multiple restaurants, bars, and event spaces, the estate champions local, seasonal produce — much of which is grown on site.
They are now seeking a creative and driven Head Chef to take the helm of their relaxed fine dining restaurant, specialising in seasonal small plates delivered to an exceptional standard. This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious chef to shape menus, inspire a passionate brigade, and make their mark on a restaurant that combines approachable dining with fine culinary craftsmanship.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and inspire the kitchen team in delivering seasonal small plates with precision, creativity, and consistency
  • Work closely with the Head of Food to shape menus that highlight provenance and innovation
  • Champion sustainability and estate-grown produce, ensuring a balance of creativity and respect for ingredients
  • Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen organisation
  • Mentor and develop junior chefs, fostering a culture of growth and excellence
