JOB SUMMARY:

As Head Chef, you will oversee all kitchen operations, manage the team, design and execute our menu, and maintain the highest standards of food quality and hygiene. You should be a confident leader, passionate about wellness-focused cuisine, and eager to inspire your team while delivering an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Chef, preferably with breakfast, brunch, and lunch menus.
  • Strong culinary skills, with a focus on presentation, creativity, and wellness-oriented dishes.
  • Knowledge of nutrition and a passion for creating healthy, balanced meals.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, capable of inspiring a kitchen team.
  • Strong understanding of kitchen operations, inventory management, and food safety regulations.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards.
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and inspire the kitchen team in preparing and serving our diverse menu.
  • Design and develop new menu items that are both delicious and nutritious.
  • Ensure consistent quality, presentation, and portion control of all dishes.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen, adhering to all food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Oversee inventory management, including ordering, stock rotation, and minimising waste.
  • Train, mentor, and support kitchen staff, fostering professional growth and adherence to Revival’s standards.
  • Collaborate with management to update menus based on seasonality, trends, and customer feedback.
  • Manage kitchen budgets, including food costs, labor, and other expenses.
  • Encourage teamwork, open communication, and a positive kitchen culture.
