This is an excellent opportunity for a Head Chef looking for a better work life balance in this busy Dublin Golf Club. Not your typical F&B working hours as the facility is busier in the daytime than at night and busier in the summer than in the winter. This may be appealing to someone who is looking to move away from the late nights of your typical restaurant.
We are looking for an experienced Head Chef to join our team.
· Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Ireland
· Experience as a Head Chef
· Experience in leading a team from the front
· Friendly outgoing nature & good leader
· Strong positive work ethic
· Creative & passionate about food
· Knowledge of HACCP & Food Safety
· Good planner, organiser and communicator
· Ability to exceed customers expectations
· Be a real team player
· Excellent presentation & culinary skills
· GP management essential (bonuses offered)
Your main responsibilities will be overseeing the day-to-day culinary operation and effectively manage all aspects of food quality, delivery & service required. You will be responsible for creating new menus, food styling and presentation, inspiring new recipes and designing weekly specials. Motivate, train, develop and direct your incredible team to deliver exceptional service. Coordinate with other internal departments in relation to corporate events and bookings and participate in management team meetings. Standardise recipes and production methods to ensure consistent quality, establish presentation technique and quality standards, and plan and price menus.
