At tashas, beautiful food is at the heart of everything we do. We believe in food made with care, quality ingredients, thoughtful preparation and consistent execution. As Head Chef, you will be responsible for leading the back-of-house operation, inspiring your team, and ensuring every dish that leaves the kitchen reflects the standards that have made tashas loved by guests around the world. This is a unique opportunity to be part of an exciting new opening and help establish the culture, standards and culinary excellence that will define tashas Vouliagmeni from day one. Your Mission You will lead with passion, precision and purpose, creating a kitchen culture built on excellence, teamwork and respect. By developing your team, maintaining the highest quality standards and ensuring smooth daily operations, you will play a vital role in creating memorable experiences for every guest who walks through our doors. What You'll Be Doing Kitchen Leadership & Operations Lead all day-to-day back-of-house operations, ensuring a well-organised, efficient and positive kitchen environment. Oversee opening and closing procedures, stock control, equipment maintenance and operational readiness. Ensure all recipes, preparation methods and presentation standards are executed exactly as intended. Maintain consistency across every service, every shift and every dish. Prepare and oversee production schedules and prep plans to ensure readiness for service. Taste and quality-check food throughout the day to ensure exceptional standards are maintained. Allocate responsibilities across the kitchen team and ensure cooking techniques, timings and procedures are consistently followed. Conduct daily team briefings that inspire, inform and prepare the team for successful service. Support the achievement of operational excellence standards and continuous improvement initiatives. People & Culture Build, lead and inspire a high-performing kitchen team. Create schedules that support both operational needs and team wellbeing. Partner with HR and Training teams to support onboarding, development and performance management. Coach and mentor team members, helping them grow in confidence, capability and career progression. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration and mutual respect. Lead by example and embody the values and culture that define tashas. Ensure company policies and procedures are consistently and fairly implemented. Food Quality & Guest Experience Maintain exceptional food quality, consistency and presentation standards. Ensure every dish served reflects the care, quality and attention to detail our guests expect. Champion our three pillars: beautiful food, stunning environments and engaging service. Continuously look for opportunities to improve quality, efficiency and guest satisfaction. Systems & Technology Support the effective use of POS systems and operational technology within the café. Ensure accurate reporting, stock management and kitchen administration processes are maintained. Health, Safety & Compliance Uphold the highest standards of food safety, hygiene and sanitation. Ensure full compliance with all local health and safety regulations. Complete and monitor HACCP procedures, checklists and corrective actions. Ensure food is stored, handled and prepared safely at all times. Maintain clean, organised and well-presented workstations, equipment and storage areas. Proactively identify and report maintenance issues, equipment concerns or safety risks. What We're Looking For Proven experience as a Head Chef, Executive Sous Chef or senior kitchen leader in a high-volume, quality-driven hospitality environment. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop and inspire teams. Excellent understanding of kitchen operations, food production, stock management and cost control. Thorough knowledge of food safety, HACCP and hygiene standards. A calm and organised approach in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional attention to detail and a genuine passion for quality. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. A hands-on leader who enjoys being part of the action and supporting their team. What You'll Love Being part of the opening team for the first-ever tashas café in Greece. Working with a globally respected hospitality brand known for beautiful food and exceptional experiences. Helping shape the culture, standards and success of a landmark new opening. Joining a company that believes in generosity, teamwork, quality and continuous growth.
