ABOUT THE FACILITY:

The Hive London is an internationally renowned stadium facility in North London. Home to League 2 football club Barnet FC and women’s team London Bees, the Hive London regularly hosts a plethora of visiting teams from across the world. The likes of England, Italy, Germany, Brazil and many more have all trained at the Hive London and have benefitted not only from our stadium pitch but also our Football Centre which is the largest of its kind in Europe. It boasts 9 large 5-a-side 5G football pitches and 3 full size 3G, 4G and 5G football pitches with a further 2 full size 5G football pitches under development. Other facilities include a gym, medical scanning centre TIC Health, 13 event spaces and even a Starbucks. The Hive London truly is one of a kind.

OVERVIEW:

The Hive London is actively looking to hire a Head Chef with a minimum of 2 year’s experience.
We are looking for a passionate and self-motivated individual to become part of our team.
The successful candidate will be clean and tidy and able to handle lots of orders during short busy windows.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:

Experience of working within a Stadium environment is advantageous but not essential. However, experience of cooking lots of meals during a short time window and getting each customer served in a timely and efficient manner is critical.

Responsibilities

· Must be competent at running a cafe restaurant open 7am - 11pm, seven days a week.
· Work with three other grill chefs to create consistent quality menu.
· Ensure clean and safe kitchen working practices.
· Ensure kitchen staff are fully trained and qualified.
· Order supplies and store fresh.
· Create daily special lunches suitable for athletes.
· Make sure kitchen meets all H&S and food safety regulations.
· Freshen menus each month.
