The Old Manor House Hotel is a 400-year-old independently owned hotel with a strong reputation for high-quality food and personal service. Our menu celebrates British-European cuisine with a balance of tradition and creativity, offering refined à la carte dining Monday to Saturday, classic Sunday roasts, and bespoke three-course menus for weddings and private events.
We are now seeking a Head Chef to lead the kitchen with vision, consistency, and confidence — someone who respects classic flavours but is also comfortable contributing fresh ideas to help us continue evolving our food offering.

As Head Chef, you will:

• Lead and manage a small, focused kitchen team.
• Develop seasonal menus rooted in British and European traditions, with space for contemporary influence
• Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations including food quality, GP management, supplier relations, and hygiene standards
• Deliver consistently excellent food across à la carte service, Sunday roasts, and weddings/functions
• Collaborate with ownership on gradual menu development and event planning
