ABOUT US

The Turkey Inn is a successful local business on the outskirts of Keighley. We have a loyal local following and increasingly attract visitors from further afield. We are a family owned freehouse meaning we have the flexibility to experiment and control our own destiny. We have this year been named as a finalist in ‘best country pub’ category at the Great British pub awards.
We are innovative, customer-centric, fast-paced, and our goal is to increase and expand from the high quality base we have established since re-opening in 2020. We continually strive to attract and retain customers through an exciting and high quality selection of food and drink, experiences with a difference (e.g. butcher ’n’ grill night) and demonstrate sustainability and supply chain transparency through local sourced products and ingredients. This is all enabled by qualty service.
Our work environment is fast paced, friendly and is really based around a team mentality. We are a relatively small team of around 20 and therefore we all share a “get things done” mentality.
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Head Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position will have a background in producing quality dishes, be able to innovate and drive increased custom through creating and delivering an attractive food proposition. The Head Chef will be responsible for creating menus, managing food costs, ensuring the quality of food served, training kitchen staff, maging kitchen rotas, ensuring the highest food safety standards. We are a relatively small team and therefore being hands-on is critical, whilst also developing and training kitchen colleagues. Working in partnership with FOH management is also key to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction are acheived. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to be part of an agile team and play a leading role in the development of a great destination pub.
