The owner of a lovely boutique hotel is seeking a Head Chef to implement new dishes and menus to take the dining operation forward. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven Head Chef to make their mark and bring a modern feel into the dining experience using fresh seasonal produce sourced locally where possible. The hotel has a 40-seat restaurant, an outside area for the summer, a bar and lounge and caters for small weddings and private functions. As this is a Head Chef role you will be responsible for all areas of kitchen management including paperwork, implementation of hygiene legislation, financial performance, rotas, ordering, stock management and mentoring a brigade of 4 chefs.
REQUIREMENTS:
An experienced passionate Head Chef with experience in a fresh food property is required. This role would suit a Head Chef wanting to put their stamp on the menu who has a proven track record of leading a team serving quality fresh food. An excellent all round knowledge of the kitchen is needed and you must also have good references.
Due to the location of this hotel it is essential that all applicants have access to their own transport.
