A village pub with a small number of rooms which is a popular dining venue for guests, locals and visitors to the area is seeking an ambitious Head Chef to push the standards forward. Food is offered in the bar area a function room that caters for 70 and an outside area that can cater for an additional 150. As Head Chef you will have a strong input on the menu choices as the owners are looking for new ideas and initiatives to increase the business. In this role of Head Chef you will be responsible for all areas of kitchen management including paperwork; implementation of hygiene legislation; financial performance; ordering and stock management.

REQUIREMENTS:

This role would suit an ambitious and experienced Head Chef who has been working in busy fresh food kitchens most recently. The ability to cook to high standards whilst also supervising others in a busy kitchen environment is essential, and a drive to push standards forward.
