Your role includes maintaining brand standards and food quality, and collaborating with our award-winning food team, playing a key part in our collective success and maintaining the excellence that our brands are known for.
Join us at The Restaurant Group (TRG) – home to around 300 fabulous restaurants and pubs across the UK, including faves like wagamama’s, and Barburrito. With over 40 years in the hospitality game, we’re all about creating experiences that wow.

WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU…

  • Superb career development with training and apprenticeships open to all.
  • Free meal whenever you work.
  • Up to 30% discount at all our brands and no limit on number of guests, incl. wagamama.
  • Duty free discounts excluding alcohol and cigarettes.
  • Access to a great discount platform, saving you money on everyday purchases and so much more.
  • Wagestream platform to access your wages as they are earned.

What we’re looking for in our Head Chef…

  • Experienced in the fast-paced world of high-volume restaurants.
  • Familiarity with a variety of kitchen appliances, ensuring optimal utilisation and efficiency.
  • In-depth knowledge of ingredients, food processes, and culinary techniques.
  • Solid grasp of hospitality management.
  • Pro at understanding Profit & Loss (P&L) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Understand the nitty-gritty of laws and regulations like Health and Safety and Licensing Laws.
  • Excel in communication and leadership skills.
  • Awesome at organising and multitasking.
  • Plus, you’re ready to share your last 5 years of life’s journey, whether that’s work, education, or personal experiences, and you’re okay with a criminal record check.
