About The Role We are seeking a talented and dedicated Head Chef to lead our kitchen operations and deliver exceptional culinary experiences. As the Head Chef, you will oversee food preparation, manage kitchen staff, and ensure high-quality standards while maintaining operational efficiency. This is a full-time, hourly position within the Operations department, requiring outstanding organizational and leadership skills. What You'll Do Develop and execute menu items, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation. Lead, manage, and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment. Oversee inventory management, ordering, and ingredient sourcing to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste. Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, ensuring a clean and safe kitchen environment. Monitor kitchen operations to ensure dishes are prepared in a timely manner while maintaining quality. Collaborate with management to create seasonal menus and innovative dishes aligning with the brand's vision. Handle scheduling, labor cost management, and performance evaluations for kitchen team members. Resolve issues that arise in the kitchen promptly, maintaining smooth daily operations. Qualifications Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar leadership role in a professional kitchen. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation, and kitchen operations. Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate staff. Familiarity with budgeting, cost control, and inventory management. In-depth understanding of health and safety practices in the kitchen environment. Excellent time management and organizational skills to oversee multiple tasks and priorities efficiently. Creativity and innovation in crafting unique and high-quality dishes. Ability to communicate fluently in English.
