ABOUT THE ROLE

Are you an organised, reliable, and experienced cleaner looking for a flexible, self-managed role? As the Head Cleaner at St Neots Squeaky Group Cleaners, you’ll lead both cleaning and administrative operations while working closely with our Area Manager. This blend of responsibilities makes it ideal if you’re seeking autonomy with room for leadership and personal initiative.
This role is initially a 2-3 hours a week role. Working from home, you will be predominantly posting on social media to grow the team of self-employed cleaners and raise brand awareness in and around the St Neots area to generate new customers. As the business grows, the hours and demand for the cleaning element of the role will increase.

A) CLEANING & SUPERVISORY TASKS

  • Perform comprehensive domestic and commercial cleaning—sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, sanitising kitchens and bathrooms, emptying bins, and tackling surfaces with attention to detail.
  • Lead by example—carry out deep cleans and uphold high cleanliness standards across all sites.

B) ADMINISTRATIVE & MANAGERIAL DUTIES

  • Collaborate with the Area Manager on invoicing and financial processing for client jobs.
  • Maintain and post content on social media to promote services, engage clients, and build brand presence.
  • Support the Area Manager in recruiting new cleaners through social media and other appropriate channels.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to incoming client enquiries and messages.
  • Address and resolve complaints or service issues in coordination with the Area Manager—ensuring client satisfaction and service quality.
  • Support client relationship management and maintain operational standards across multiple sites.
