Description
Accountabilities: To provide pro-active and effective legal and contractual support to the business and operations activities of the Indian Business Unit (BU) and the legal department. Drafting, Vetting, Negotiating of contractual conditions and specifications of different scope of contracts in Infrastructure, Power, Utility, Infrastructure tender document/s, various Joint Venture/ consortium agreements and other related documents. Provides interpretation and analysis of contracts and other documents. Prepares standard terms for documents such as purchase orders, subcontracts and flow down conditions. Manage and assists with claims, invoicing, milestones, employment and labour related matters as necessary. In addition, provide support/ work closely with other functions and departments such as Legal, Commercial, Procurement etc. Supply Chain Management Planning and Execution, create balance in stock position, reconciliation of stock. Work both independently and as part of Legal/Contracts team and to take on special projects and assignments in addition to the daily job. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Educational Qualifications Engineering Graduate / Post-Graduate (Certification on Contracting / Law would be an added advantage) Functional Skills Exposure to Contract Management of EPC Power / Energy Projects Relevant and total years of Experience 18-20+ years
