Head Designer – Sheridan Outlet Pyrmont | Permanent | Hybrid & Flexible Working We have an exciting opportunity for a Head Designer to lead the design and product development of the Sheridan Outlet channel, playing a critical role in shaping commercially successful ranges while supporting Sheridan’s long term strategy and sustainability commitments. This is a permanent role within the Sheridan Design team, offering the chance to lead, influence and collaborate across a highly respected and creative business. About the Role As Head Designer, you will oversee the design and development of seasonal and core Outlet ranges, bringing the Sheridan brand to life while meeting customer and commercial expectations. You will lead a Design Assistant and collaborate with cross functional teams to deliver innovative and sustainable product. Key Responsibilities Lead the design and development of Sheridan Outlet ranges in line with seasonal direction, option plans and critical path timelines Translate brand strategy into commercially viable product ranges, balancing innovation, margin, and MOQ requirements Develop and communicate seasonal creative direction, trend insights and product stories from concept through to business alignment Conduct market, trend and competitor research to identify opportunities for category and brand growth Partner closely with Merchandise, Buying, Product Development and Sourcing to ensure successful execution from concept to production Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all product data within PLM and supporting systems Actively contribute to sustainability and traceability initiatives, supporting Sheridan’s commitments You will bring: 5+ years’ experience in a senior design role, with people leadership experience Strong expertise across product or textile design, including finished product development and costing Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office A strong eye for colour, fabric and global macro & micro trends Proven ability to balance creative vision with commercial outcomes Experience working with PLM systems and cross-functional product teams A proactive, organised approach with strong communication and presentation skills What We Offer Work with an iconic Australian brand in a highly collaborative design team Hybrid and flexible working arrangements A genuine commitment to global sustainability Huge staff discounts across the Hanes portfolio (Bonds, Sheridan, Bras N Things, & more) Wellness initiatives including EAP, flu shots, skin checks and on site benefits “Summer Fun” days - an extra day off every fortnight during summer Ongoing learning, development and leadership exposure Cultivating a diverse and inclusive workplace At Hanes Australasia we value an inclusive and diverse environment in line with our purpose of creating the fabric of a better life for our People and Planet.
