JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Door Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our premises while providing exceptional customer service to all guests and visitors. This position requires a vigilant individual who can effectively monitor access points, manage visitor interactions, and respond promptly to any incidents that may arise.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in Head Doorman Role is essential.
• Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and surveillance systems is highly desirable.
• Certification in first aid or willingness to obtain certification is advantageous.
• Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert at all times.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly demeanour.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor and control access to the building, ensuring only authorised individuals enter.
• Assist guests with inquiries, providing information about the facility and its services.
• Maintain a visible presence at the entrance to deter potential security breaches.
• Respond to emergencies, administering first aid when necessary and coordinating with emergency services as required.
• Report any suspicious behaviour or incidents to management promptly.
• Ensure that all security equipment is functioning correctly and report any malfunctions immediately.
• Maintain accurate logs of visitors, deliveries, and incidents that occur during shifts.
