Job Summary Do you lead the defence against digital and technology-driven fraud in a dynamic banking environment? We are seeking a visionary Head of Fraud – Digital & Technology Threats to join our Corporate & Investment Banking Fraud team. In this role you will be accountable for preventing, detecting, and mitigating fraud risks arising from digital platforms, technology systems, data, and emerging technologies within the CIB business. You will ensure that technology-enabled fraud threats—including cyber-fraud, payment fraud, insider-enabled fraud, and third-party fraud—are proactively managed while enabling secure, seamless client and market-facing operations. Acting as a strategic bridge between Fraud, Technology, and the CIB business, you will translate complex threat intelligence into actionable fraud risk decisions to protect the bank, its clients, and its reputation. Job Description Your additional Key Responsibilities will include the following: Defining and implementing the CIB Digital & Technology Fraud Strategy, aligned to enterprise financial crime frameworks and risk appetite. Anticipating and responding to emerging fraud typologies, including platform abuse, account compromise, payment manipulation, identity fraud, and technology-assisted insider fraud. Ensuring fraud risk considerations are embedded into digital transformation and product innovation initiatives. Lead fraud threat intelligence, including monitoring of internal trends, external intelligence, and industry threat sharing. Oversee the design and effectiveness of fraud detection and prevention controls across digital channels, payment systems, trading platforms, and internal systems Establish robust fraud governance, policies, and standards related to digital and technology threats Oversee fraud risks arising from third-party service providers, fintech partnerships, cloud platforms, and outsourced services. Partner closely with CIB Technology, Digital, Payments, Markets, Operations, and Product teams to balance fraud risk and client experience. Build and lead a specialist Digital & Technology Fraud team with skills in analytics, threat intelligence, and investigation. Send in your CV if you have the required experience as well as meet the below criteria; A B Degree in Risk Management, Information Systems, Data Science, or a PostGrad preferably Relevant certifications (e.g., CAMS, CISSP, CGERT, or equivalent). 10+ years’ experience in fraud risk, financial crime, or technology-enabled fraud, preferably within corporate, investment, or wholesale banking. Proven leadership experience managing complex fraud risk environments across digital platforms and payment systems.
