Job Description
The person in this role will lead and oversee all aspects of client relationships and delivery of fund administration services to a mix of clients. The role of involves leading/overseeing client integrations, conversions and strategic projects. Working closely with the commercial team as well as stakeholders across the organisation, the individual will contribute to ongoing development, refinement, implementation of and adherence to best practice controls processes and controls in line with the overall mission, culture and values of IQ-EQ.
This is a key role in terms of client relationships and, as such, is expected to include significant client interaction at a senior level (CFO, Director of Finance, Head of Investor Relations), acting as the main contact/ escalation point for several high-profile engagements.
The role holder will be responsible for management of the fund administration delivery team. The role holder will provide leadership and guidance on technical aspects, client relationship, team management and delivery management and will be responsible for developing the skills and abilities of the team members.
The core skills required are having experience in leading teams for successful delivery of projects within a project management framework, demonstrating effective communication skills, having client-facing experience and understanding the fund administration business.

Responsibilities
  • You will maintain and enhance client relationships by monitoring and developing client service level agreements providing a full service/product offering.
  • Leverage existing client relationships to secure new business and assist in the offering of IQ-EQ’s products and services
  • In partnership with other stakeholders, facilitate presentations to existing and prospective clients, including system demonstrations
  • Identify new areas of growth by understanding the industry and regulatory environment while being sensitive to industry changes and business trends
  • Visit clients regularly to evaluate service quality and identify client priorities
  • In partnership with the internal departments, oversee the resolution of complex client issues
  • Manage, train, and coach assigned team members in the successful implementation of their goals
  • Liaise with clients regarding reporting requirements and deadlines, ensuring delivery in an accurate and timely manner
  • Ensure continuous risk assessment of current and potential new funds under administration
  • Identify issues/concerns and recommend company-wide solutions for any/all high risk projects
  • Manage and oversee staffing requirements
  • Ensure fluid execution and strategy for work forecasting and allocation
  • Actively manage operational risk – monthly reporting on status reports and key development issues to external clients and executive management team.
    Qualifications

Applicants should possess (as a minimum):

  • A detailed understanding of Private Equity and other close ended fund structures and the fund administration industry
  • A detailed understanding of UAE’s regulatory requirements pertaining to funds
  • 8-10 years’ experience in fund accounting and a professional degree in accounting or finance
  • Knowledge of e-Front and / or Paxus preferred
  • Microsoft Office skills apart from focus on Excel skills
