QUALIFICATIONS

  • Law degree with a solid background in employment law
  • Fluent in English and Danish
  • 10+ years of experience in employment law, with strong knowledge of Danish employment regulations and exposure to global employment law frameworks
  • Experience advising on employment and compliance matters in a multinational organization
  • Proven ability to work within a matrix organisation, preferably with exposure to shared service centres, to develop and implement employment policies and legal frameworks across multiple jurisdictions
  • Experience engaging with senior leadership, regulatory bodies, and external legal advisors
  • Ability to translate complex legal concepts into actionable business strategies

Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice, either directly or via local advisors on VP+ contracts, exits, and other employment related matters
  • Act as the global process owner on global P&C legal policies including employment contract templates
  • Offer expert P&C advice on GDPR, compliance matters, and the P&C ESG agenda to support regulatory adherence
  • Oversee legal aspects of Danish work injury cases and employment-related disputes, ensuring compliance and risk management
  • Provide expert advice and support to P&C business partners on Danish employment law in relation to negotiations and complex cases
  • Act as a focal point for legal reviews on global P&C policies Provide legal insights on Danish compensation, benefits, taxation, and bonus structures to support business decisions
