We are seeking a Guest Services Expert (we call that a “Head Golf Attendant”). This individual assists the General Manager of Performance in overseeing and managing golf operations at the location, and is dedicated to delivering exceptional service and genuine hospitality. The Head Golf Attendant is charismatic, people-oriented, gets to know Guests on a first-name basis, and is able to develop a proficiency at using our equipment, including our golf simulators. The Head Golf Attendant reports directly to the General Manager of Performance. Responsibilities include the following: Assist the General Manager of Performance to carry out duties managing facility Provide above-and-beyond service to Guests with a friendly face Present to open the location in the mornings and weekends to facilitate golf operations Proficiency in golf simulator technology; Adhere to quality control processes to ensure all simulators are maintained Build relationships within the community, foster loyalty with customers, and encourage repeat business through proactive engagement. Maintain and organize golf bag storage and all golf equipment Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all of our products and business lines and work alongside the Director of Golf to hit quarterly sales targets Build the membership community through member events, outings, and engage in local reciprocity efforts with state/regional golf associations and courses. Display attention to detail by actively checking in with Guests throughout their booking Maintain up-to-date knowledge of food and beverage offerings; ability to deliver premium food and beverage service, including taking orders and timely delivering items Take pride in ensuring guests' enjoyment by actively checking in with guests throughout their booking to ensure satisfaction and promptly address any concerns Follow all health and safety regulations regarding food handling, alcohol service, and cleanliness Verify guests' legal drinking age Required Qualifications: Passion for the game of golf Hospitality, hotel or golf course/club, or sports management experience preferred Exemplary communication, time management and organization skills Upbeat energy and enthusiasm and a positive attitude Ability to think on your feet and manage customer expectations Ability to work in a fast paced environment Availability to be present in the space primarily mornings/afternoons, including weekends/holidays Ability to stand, walk and bend for long periods of time and maneuver up and down stairs Benefits (*applies to full-time employees): Health, Dental, and Vision insurance* Short-Term Disability* Accident and Critical Illness Insurance* 401(k) * Meals while working are included for free Job Type: Full Time, Non-Exempt HourlyTip- Eligible Pay: $19 / Hour + Tips Five Iron Golf is committed to celebrating diversity and creating an inclusive environment for employees of all backgrounds.
