The Head Greenkeeper is responsible for the maintenance and management of the golf course, ensuring it is presented to the highest standards for members and guests. This role involves overseeing turf care, irrigation, staff supervision, and environmental management. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in golf course maintenance, strong leadership skills, and a passion for providing an exceptional playing experience.
NVQ/SVQ Level 3 or above.
Must have spraying certification PA1, PA2 and PA6.
Able to work to and control an annual budget.
Previous golf course management
Proven leadership qualities to manage a team is required.
Good understanding of working with a fleet of machinery
Up to date with current Health & Safety in the workplace, along with construction/project management would be desirable.
Creative thinker and problem solver.
Communication skills along with been IT literate.
Reliable, honest and trustworthy.

Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
