Working in spectacular surroundings based on the exclusive Sandbanks peninsula, our 4* Harbour Heights Hotel and 4* Haven Hotel, are looking to recruit experienced Head Housekeepers who are committed and motivated with high standards of work, to join their busy Housekeeping team.
This is a fixed term contract covering the Spring/Summer season, working 40 hours per week. Successful candidates would be required to work to a rota which will include weekends, evenings and bank holidays.

Job responsibilities:

  • Ensure the standards of all the rooms and public areas are maintained by thorough checks and retraining where necessary.
  • Being responsible for allocating the daily list of rooms that require cleaning to all Room Attendants.
  • Checking that departure and sleeper rooms are maintained to the high standard expected by the hotel.
  • Ensuring that all bedroom equipment is in sound working order and report any damages to maintenance.
  • Ensuring that all bedrooms, lifts, public rooms are maintained to the degree of cleanliness and hygiene required by the hotel.
  • Ensuring good communication with other departments when necessary.
  • Physical work will be involved in this role.

Candidates requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Good communication skills (written and spoken).
  • Awareness of Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 & Food Safety Act 1990.
  • Team player with management experience.
  • Strong English written and verbal communication skills
  • IT literate.
  • A real passion for providing excellent customer services is a must.
