Responsibilities

As Head Housekeeper, you will oversee all housekeeping operations, leading a dedicated team to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. Your role will involve supervising and assigning tasks to ensure smooth daily operations, training new team members, and evaluating their performance to uphold high standards. You will schedule and delegate cleaning and laundry tasks, ensuring all areas of the home are impeccably maintained. Managing the inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, you will ensure availability while keeping costs in check. Regular inspections of residents’ rooms and common areas will be part of your responsibility to guarantee quality and cleanliness. You will address resident and staff requests or complaints promptly and professionally, while enforcing safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a secure environment. Acting as a key liaison between the housekeeping department and other teams, you will foster seamless communication, attend management meetings, and manage the housekeeping budget with accurate record-keeping.
