Description

We’re recruiting for a Head Housekeeper to join our team at Marlborough House in Milton Keynes to oversee management and performance of the directly employed soft FM cleaning and porter staff.
Marlborough House is a male only medium secure 28 bedded unit situated on the Milton Keynes General Hospital site in Milton Keynes.
You’ll be working in conjunction with nursing staff in order to maintain a clean and safe environment. The service is responsible for maintaining patient rooms, public areas, back of house areas such as linen room and laundry areas, according to the organisations polic ies and procedures at a level that meets or exceeds National Cleanliness standards.

This role includes an RSU allowance of £1,446 per annum on top of your salary
Manage porters and cleaners and ensure that all service standards are met and maintained
C arry out a localised induction with all new staff members
Conduct annual appraisals and monthly supervisions for managed s taff
Responsible for authorising annual leave and recording and managing sickness levels
Ensure all staff mandatory and task specific training is completed in liaison with Facilities co-ordinator
Support line manager with rotas and cleaning schedules
Responsible for managing stock levels for cleaning consumables, linen and food stock levels and highlighting shortages to line manager to order
