Optimal, on behalf of a high-quality waterfront suites property in Kefalonia, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Head Housekeeper. Scope of Role The Head Housekeeper is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, maintenance, aesthetics, and overall presentation of the apartments, common areas, linen rooms, and uniforms. The role oversees the housekeeping team, equipment, linen, and consumables, ensuring smooth daily operations and an excellent guest experience. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations across apartments and public areas Prepare team schedules and allocate tasks to housekeepers Conduct final room inspections before guest arrivals Monitor reservations and adjust cleaning priorities accordingly Oversee linen management, inventory control, and coordination with external laundry services Ensure proper use and maintenance of cleaning equipment and supplies Identify maintenance issues and report them promptly through internal systems Prepare daily reports and participate in annual inventory procedures Train and guide housekeeping team members according to company standards Ensure compliance with health & safety and quality standards Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure high-level service delivery Candidate Profile At least 3 years of experience in a similar Housekeeping Supervisor role in hospitality environments Strong organizational and team management skills Excellent attention to detail and quality standards Familiarity with PMS/ERP systems (knowledge of Protel will be considered an asset) Good command of Greek and English Professional appearance, discretion, and guest-oriented mindset The Company Offers Competitive remuneration package Long-term career and personal growth prospects within a well-established and evolving organization Employment in a high-quality hospitality environment About Optimal Since 2005, Optimal has provided unparalleled, bespoke HR services to large organizations and SMEs operating in the EMEA region.
