The position is responsible for all HR matters. Principal Duties and Responsibilities • Collaborate with senior leadership to understand organization goals, staffing needs, including recruitment retention, training, and talent development. • Plans, leads, develops, coordinates, and implements policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organizations human resource compliance and strategy needs. • Administers or oversees the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance, talent management and development productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety. • Identifies staffing and recruiting needs; develops and executes best practices for hiring. • Monitors and ensures the organizations compliance with applicable Labour law regulations. • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources. • Develops manages and maintains department budget. • Facilitates professional development, training, and certification activities for HR staff. • Ensure all meetings are held per company calendar. • Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, half year and annual reports to the deputy CEO in a timely manner in accordance with company calendar. Qualifications Education: • Degree in Human Resource or equivalent in Business Administration, Management Studies, or equivalent relevant field • Second degree in Business Management, Human Resource Management, or a closely related field preferred • Membership in a relevant professional body (IHRMP, PHR, SHRM, SPHR, CIPD) is preferred • A minimum of 8 years in an HR managerial role within a corporate setting Minimum Requirements • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential materials and matters with discretion and tact • High standards of personal integrity and adherence to professional and ethical standards • Must be objective and firm. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong supervisory and leadership skills. • Ability to adapt to the needs of the organization and employees. • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate. • Thorough knowledge of labour law and regulations. • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. • Committed to working non-traditional hours, nights, and weekends. • Willingness to travel short notice. • An innovative approach and high energy levels • Enthusiastic and action oriented Additional Information Leadership Capabilities Living our Purpose - Acts as a role model and inspires others to embrace and live our purpose and values.
