THE JOB:
We’re looking for an experienced and organized kitchen team member to help lead daily food preparation and service. You’ll support smooth kitchen operations, maintain high food quality, and set the standard for safety, cleanliness, and teamwork.

Review daily prep sheets and checklists with the team

Ensure stations are set up, cleaned, and closed properly
*
Lead food prep and cooking to meet quality and timing standards

Monitor food freshness, rotation, and portion control
*
Follow recipes and menu specs for consistency
*
Taste and test food for quality
*
Create station prep lists and help manage food orders
*
Keep waste low and reduce food costs through proper storage and rotation
*
Maintain a clean, organized kitchen including fridges, freezers, and dry storage
*
Set a positive example with great food handling and teamwork
*
Lead daily team meetings and act as expeditor when needed
*
Train and support junior kitchen staff
*
Ensure all food safety and cleanliness standards are met
*
Communicate with the Chef, Front of House, and Banquet teams
*
Help with new menu development and specials
