Description
Primary Purpose of the Job Manage and develop LNG Fleet Performance activities to maximise vessel and voyage performance and value across a global trading fleet while ensuring compliance with charter party terms, performance warranties, and contractual obligations, and driving continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and value protection through analysis, innovation, and collaboration with internal stakeholders and external owners and operators. Required Experience and Skills • Minimum 8 years of relevant energy industry experience with at least 5 years in LNG Marketing or Trading and 3 years in a management/supervisory capacity. • Desired 3-6 years of post-fixture/voyage analyst experience in shipping operations within an integrated shipping/oil/gas company. • Exceptional in-depth knowledge of the LNG value chain especially LNGC’s and LNG commercial operations. • Extensive experience with an excellent attention to detail in Performance criteria development, negotiation, reviewing and management of Time Charter Parties. • Excellent ability to analyse data relating to both vessel and voyage performance based on set criteria, demonstrate excellent drafting skills, identify risks/issues and resolve/mitigate issues and risks accordingly. • Experienced in Shipping Operations and Industry regulations in to enable the development and management of business processes and controls. • Proven leadership and team management skills with the ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills, as well as negotiation, commercial acumen, and problem-solving abilities. • Highly motivated and responsive, able to work independently whilst demonstrating leadership qualities. Educational Qualifications University degree in Business, International Trade, Finance, or Nautical Engineering Certificate of Competency (1st or 2nd class) with appropriate experience.
