About the Role: The Backbone of Club Operations Are you a skilled maintenance professional who takes pride in keeping buildings, equipment, and systems in peak condition? As a Head Maintenance Technician, you’ll take a hands-on role in the upkeep of the clubhouse, pool, and fitness areas while also providing leadership in preventative maintenance planning. Your work will directly impact the comfort, safety, and satisfaction of our members and guests. What You’ll Be Doing (Essential Duties): Clubhouse & Facility Care: Perform daily maintenance, inspections, and repairs for the clubhouse, locker rooms, restrooms, dining areas, and fitness center. Mechanical Systems: Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, and fire safety systems. Preventative Maintenance: Develop and execute preventative schedules for facility systems, appliances, and building infrastructure. Pool & Fitness Equipment: Oversee the maintenance and safe operation of the swimming pool systems, pumps, filters, and fitness equipment. Carpentry & General Repairs: Complete routine painting, carpentry, drywall, flooring, and minor construction tasks to keep facilities in pristine condition. Vendor & Project Support: Assist with contractor coordination for larger projects and ensure work meets club standards. Emergency Response: Be the go-to responder for urgent facility and equipment issues to minimize downtime. Recordkeeping: Maintain detailed logs of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities. What You’ll Need to Thrive (Qualifications): 5+ years of hands-on facility or maintenance experience; hospitality, resort, or club experience preferred. Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. Experience with facility utility systems such as boilers, pumps, and compressors. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints. Excellent communication skills and a team-player mindset. Commitment to safety and compliance with all regulations. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods. Comfortable lifting and moving items up to 50 lbs. Available for occasional evening/weekend shifts or on-call needs.
