The West Kowloon Cultural District Authority welcomes exceptional talent with a passion to realise the vision and mission of making the West Kowloon Cultural District a prime local and international destination for arts, culture and entertainment. Reporting to the Director, Marketing, Branding and Partnerships, you will be responsible for: playing a pivotal role of developing overarching district and commercial branding and marketing strategies in line with the business objectives of West Kowloon District Authority including brand building, publicity, place making and wayfinding strategy to ensure well-orchestrated and consistent brand experiences across the District and the Authority; planning and managing year-round marketing communications calendar to deliver compelling brand stories about the District and its artistic venues to uplift WestK’s brand reputation; managing and gatekeeping the guidelines and toolkits for brand identity and standards for the brands of WestK and its artistic venues, and ensure seamless brands experience across all touchpoints; driving and orchestrating social media strategy with engaging and culturally relevant content, develop KOL partnerships in priority source markets to maximize brand visibility and presence across all social media platforms, lead to improve marketing effectiveness and drive visitation; devising content strategy and developing digital marketing frameworks in partnership with different business units and business partners; providing guidance on design related aspects and engaging with internal/external stakeholders for executing brand communications, brand collateral, photography, videography, etc.; developing and delivering 360 solution designs from concept, feasibility, insights, positioning, commercials to go-to-market strategies for new brand marketing initiatives and services; leading the planning and management of major organization-wide brand milestones throughout the year including reputational campaigns, destination events, partnership activations, etc to ensure clear messaging that align with the brand purpose and culture; ensuring brand and marketing content, parameters, marketing guidelines and commercial messaging are fully integrated into venue and art form specific marketing communications and materials; co-developing the trade marketing promotional materials and sales kits with Channel Marketing team, support the team to run campaigns in collaboration with channel partners to expand the international reach; conducting budget planning and manage expenditure, implement appropriate measures to monitor the return on investment for brand building and marketing initiatives, destination campaigns and partnerships; managing ongoing brand measurement and valuation (commercials, awareness, operating standards, customer experience), and overseeing performance marketing and KPIs; and performing any other duties from time to time as reasonably assigned by the Authority. The ideal candidate should: possess a recognised University degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Business Management or related discipline; have at least 12 years of experience in brand strategy/management and marketing communications field, of which 8 years at managerial level; have excellent analytical skills, critical thinking with a strong brand building capability and an expert-level understanding of branding, business and strategic planning, with a strong drive to achieve results; have solid experience in developing integrated brand marketing campaigns across channels, with well-round marketing skills across the marketing mix of ATL, BTL, Digital and Social platforms in Hong Kong, Chinese Mainland and overseas; have excellent interpersonal and people management skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate and influence at all levels within and outside the organization; have outstanding leadership and is a great team player with the ability to foster collaboration, inspire creativity, establish a vision and motivate team to achieve strategic business goals; have good ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a very dynamic and fast-paced environment; and have excellent written and verbal communications skills in English, Cantonese and Putonghua.
