Responsibilities

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

As the Head of Marketing / Sales at Mitros, you will set the vision and direction for how we attract customers and drive revenue in our expanding solar EPC business. This dual-function leadership role means you oversee our brand messaging and lead generation (Marketing) while also steering the efforts of our sales teams in converting those opportunities into satisfied customers (Sales). It’s a role for a strategic thinker and energetic leader who can unify two critical functions under the common goal of growth. In our culture of innovation and customer-centricity, you will craft compelling narratives about renewable energy, deploy creative campaigns, and ensure our sales approach is consultative and aligned with client needs. Ultimately, you’ll be shaping Mitros’s market presence and ensuring that our commitment to renewable energy and quality service is known far and wide.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a unified marketing and sales strategy that supports Mitros’s growth targets. Set clear objectives for brand awareness, lead generation, and sales conversions in both domestic and commercial segments. Regularly evaluate market opportunities and adjust strategies to stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Marketing Leadership: Oversee all marketing activities and campaigns. This includes digital marketing (website, social media, SEO/SEM), content marketing (educational blogs, case studies, newsletters), and traditional channels (events, print, PR) as relevant. Ensure that our messaging consistently highlights Mitros’s values of sustainability, innovation, and customer satisfaction. Build Mitros’s brand as a trusted leader in solar solutions.
  • Sales Leadership: Direct and support the sales function (Domestic, Agri and Commercial). Work closely with the Domestic Sales Team Members and Commercial Sales Lead to set sales targets, monitor performance, and refine sales tactics. Implement best practices in the sales process, from initial contact strategies to CRM usage and follow-up discipline.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team which may include marketing specialists (e.g., digital marketing coordinator, graphic designer) and sales managers or representatives. Foster collaboration between the marketing and sales teams – for example, ensuring marketing campaigns generate quality leads and that sales feedback informs future marketing content. Provide coaching and professional development opportunities, building a high-performing and motivated team.
  • Campaign Development & Execution: Drive the creation of engaging marketing campaigns that generate interest and leads. This could involve launching a new social media initiative showcasing customer success stories, running webinars on solar technology, or targeted advertising for commercial clients. Ensure campaigns are data-driven and track their ROI.
  • Brand and Content Oversight: Serve as the guardian of Mitros’s brand voice and visual identity. Review and approve marketing materials, sales collateral, proposals, and website content to ensure they are polished, compelling, and aligned with our brand values. Emphasize storytelling that connects with customers – showing how Mitros’s innovative solar solutions improve lives and businesses.
  • Market Analysis and Product Positioning: Continuously research the competitive landscape and customer preferences. Identify what differentiates Mitros (e.g., our end-to-end EPC service, our exceptional customer reviews, our use of cutting-edge technology) and ensure that these unique selling points are highlighted in both marketing and sales dialogues. Adjust positioning or offerings based on feedback and market shifts (such as new incentive programs or emerging solar tech).
  • Budget & Performance Management: Manage the marketing budget effectively, allocating resources to high-impact initiatives and ensuring cost-efficiency. Also, oversee sales budgets or commission structures in collaboration with finance. Track key performance indicators across marketing (website traffic, lead volume, conversion rates) and sales (pipeline size, win rate, revenue), and prepare regular performance reports for the executive team.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments – for instance, work with the Director of Operations and QEHS Manager to gather positive project outcomes (on-time delivery, quality stats) and incorporate those into customer-facing messaging. Coordinate with the HR Manager on employer branding efforts, as a strong employer brand can bolster marketing. Align with the Commercials Manager to ensure promotional offers or pricing strategies make financial sense.
  • Customer Experience Enhancement: Champion a holistic approach to customer experience. Gather customer feedback from surveys, reviews, and direct interactions; use insights to improve our communication, simplify the customer journey, and address any gaps between marketing promises and service delivery. Implement tools or processes (like a CRM-integrated feedback loop) that help maintain our high standard of customer-centric service from first contact to project completion.
  • Representation & Networking: Act as a spokesperson for Mitros when needed. This could involve media interviews about our projects, speaking at renewable energy conferences, or networking with industry partners and stakeholders to raise Mitros’s profile and open new channels for business.

HOW THIS ROLE CONTRIBUTES TO MITROS’S MISSION AND SUSTAINABILITY GOALS

In the capacity of Head of Marketing/Sales, you are essentially the storyteller and strategist who broadcasts Mitros’s mission to the world and ensures it translates into action. By crafting compelling marketing campaigns that highlight our renewable energy solutions, you educate and inspire customers about the value of going solar, thereby driving demand for clean energy. Your leadership in sales means those inspired customers are met with knowledgeable, caring service that helps them make the switch – a direct realization of our customer-centric values. Through innovative outreach and partnerships, you’ll help Mitros reach new communities and industries, multiplying our sustainability impact. Additionally, by aligning our brand with trust and excellence, you reinforce to all stakeholders (customers, employees, partners) that Mitros stands for quality and innovation in the pursuit of a greener future. In summary, your work turns our vision into reality: more solar panels on roofs and happier customers, accelerating the transition to sustainable energy one successful project at a time.
