Description POSITION: Head Men’s Flag Football Coach SUPERVISOR: Director of Club & Recreation Sports DEPARTMENT: Club & Recreation Sports LOCATION: Tiffin University, located in Tiffin, OH JOB TYPE: Part-time / Stipend / Seasonal (as applicable) GRANT-FUNDED: No SOC CODE: 27-2022 General Job Description: Tiffin University is looking for a motivated and energetic individual to serve as the Head Coach for the Men’s Flag Football program. This position is ideal for someone with previous flag football experience, coaching skills, and a passion for fostering a positive and competitive team environment. As part of the Club & Recreational Sports Department, the Head Men’s Flag Football Coach will work closely with student-athletes to develop their skills and enhance their experience in collegiate flag football. Key Responsibilities: Organize and lead flag football practices, including drills and skill development. Develop strategies and assist with game preparation and execution. Foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and a positive attitude among student-athletes. Coordinate and oversee team travel for games and events. Ensure the safety and well-being of participants during all activities. Communicate effectively with the Club Sports Director and team members. Promote the growth and success of the Men’s Flag Football program through effective coaching and leadership. Recruiting student-athletes, scheduling, travel planning, practice scheduling, personal mentorship, and roster management. Requirements Qualifications: Experience playing or coaching flag football at the collegiate or competitive level. Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills. Ability to inspire and motivate student-athletes. CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain upon hire). Available to work evenings and weekends based on practice and competition schedules. Demonstrated passion for flag football and student-athlete development.
