SUMMARY

At Reedbut we approach managing all of our valued customers differently to other packaging businesses. We don’t work with an External Sales Team, as our Technical Sales Team has all of the knowledge required pre-sales to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

The successful candidate will have overall responsibility for the following areas:

  • Commercial
  • Innovative design
  • Customer budgets / activity
  • Pre-sales customer interaction

They will be responsible for managing a team of up to six people and will be expected to initially review the current working practices within the team, and then implement short and long term goals which will allow the business to improve on its commercial efficiencies whilst also growing our sales portfolio. We are looking for a leader who is customer focused, self driven and can demonstrate excellent organisational and time management skills.
About the Role

As Head of Account Management, you will:

  • Lead a team of up to 6 technical sales professionals
  • Develop and implement commercial pricing strategies across sectors
  • Drive innovation in packaging solutions and customer engagement
  • Manage customer budgets, activities, and pre-sales interaction
  • Streamline internal processes to improve efficiency and increase sales
  • Work closely with senior leadership to align sales goals with business strategy

About You

We’re looking for someone who can demonstrate:

  • A degree (2:1 or higher) in a relevant field
  • Proven experience in commercial sales or technical account management, ideally in manufacturing or design
  • A passion for innovation and sustainable product development
  • Strong organisational and financial skills
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and presentation abilities
  • Customer-first mindset with the ability to build lasting relationships
