As the Head of Accounting and financial reporting, you will be a key member of the executive leadership team, reporting directly to the CFO. You will be responsible for leading the financial operations of the company. This role requires you to have a good understanding of Direct and indirect Tax, VAT, IFRS, consolidation & compliance with local and international financial regulations
Location: Germany
This role has a high degree of built-in decision-making and accountability.
You’ll get a chance to shape the company’s direction, paving the way for the largest AI-powered Drug Assets Manager. We are looking for team players who “dare to care”!

Responsibilities
  • Handling overall Accounting function, including review of book of accounts, month-end closure procedures and balance sheet preparation.
  • Handle responsibility for P&L and VAT Filing
  • Lead Audit procedures and ensure successful audit for the group
  • Manage consolidation and work with an international team
  • Allocate cost to business divisions and present Cost accounting reports to stakeholders
  • Oversee tax-related matters, including preparation and filing of tax returns, and optimize tax strategies to minimize liabilities.
  • Manage relationships and communication with an internal team
  • Conduct financial analysis, provide meaningful insights into financial performance, and support key stakeholders with data-driven decision-making.
  • Manage the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with local and international accounting standards.
