Responsibilities

As the Head of Accounts at DerbySoft Marketing Solutions, you will lead the charge in building and maintaining exceptional relationships with global hotel chains. You will serve as a strategic partner to each client—understanding their goals, driving innovation, and delivering measurable growth through our Hotel Management Platform and industry-leading metasearch and digital marketing technology. This role is critical in scaling our impact, owning key P&L responsibilities, and guiding a high-performing account management team that thrives on data, automation, and results.

You will be at the heart of the commercial and strategic growth of our clients digital direct business, working closely with internal stakeholders, technology teams, and publishers to ensure that client success is not only achieved—but accelerated.

  • Own and lead executive-level relationships with global hotel chains, aligning DerbySoft’s solutions to their strategic business goals
  • Manage and grow a high-performing account management team of account managers, supporting their development and performance
  • Drive client growth through strategic account planning, campaign innovation, and expanding adoption of DerbySoft’s technology stack—including our Hotel Management Platform and advanced marketing automation
  • Take ownership of the client-level P&L, ensuring profitability, transparency, and sustainable value creation
  • Shape and communicate long-term strategies tailored to each hotel chain’s unique distribution and marketing objectives
  • Leverage data and automation to unlock performance efficiencies and present actionable, ROI-driven recommendations
  • Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and strategic planning sessions with senior client stakeholders
  • Architect the communication plan for each client, including the development of knowledge bases, educational content, articles, and webinars on behalf of the program to support hotel adoption and engagement
  • Work cross-functionally with Performance Marketing, Data Science, Product and Engineering teams to influence roadmap and ensure the platform evolves in line with client needs
  • Play a lead role in new client onboarding, sales support, and high-stakes pitches
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor strategies, and market shifts—sharing insights internally and externally
