As Head of AI & Digital Transformation, you will assume a key strategic role and be responsible for our AI strategy as well as the digital development of our products, security operations, and business processes. You will identify potential opportunities, develop economically relevant AI use cases, and ensure that innovative ideas translate into measurable added value.

In this role, you will be responsible for the "what" and "why" of our AI solutions – from strategy, use cases, and process optimization to AI models and validation under real-world conditions. Together with the Head of Software Development , you will ensure that successful solutions are subsequently transformed into stable, scalable, and long-term deployable products.

Your tasks

Development and implementation of the company-wide AI and digital transformation strategy with a focus on innovation, automation and sustainable efficiency improvement.
Identification, evaluation and prioritization of new AI use cases for our products, security operations and internal business processes, as well as derivation of concrete economic added value.
Analysis and further development of existing business processes through intelligent automation, AI-supported solutions and new digital technologies.
Conceptualization, management and validation of innovative AI solutions and proof-of-concepts – especially in the areas of computer vision, video analysis, AI agents, large language models, predictive maintenance and automation.
Supporting new AI solutions from the initial idea to productive use – from practical tests and field validations to the definition of technical requirements and handover to software development, all the way to successful implementation.
Evaluation of new technologies and technological trends with regard to their strategic potential, technical feasibility and economic benefits for LivEye.
Development and improvement of suitable standards for AI governance , data quality, security, traceability and responsible use of artificial intelligence.
Professional and disciplinary leadership and further development of the AI team and close cooperation with management, software development and specialist departments for the sustainable anchoring of AI and digitalization in the company.

This is what you bring with you

Completed studies in computer science, artificial intelligence, data science, business informatics, industrial engineering, business administration with a strong digital/technology focus, or a comparable qualification.
Several years of relevant professional experience in the field of AI, machine learning, data science, digital transformation or technology-driven product development
Proven experience in identifying, evaluating and implementing AI and digitalization use cases – from potential analysis and prioritization to validation
Solid understanding of modern AI technologies , especially generative AI and Large Language Models.
Leadership experience and a passion for developing teams both professionally and personally
Strong business and process understanding , as well as the ability to translate technological potential into concrete use cases and measurable economic added value.
Strong communication and stakeholder skills , as well as the ability to present complex technological topics in a way that is understandable and decision-oriented for management and specialist departments.
Strategic and analytical thinking , combined with a hands-on mentality, high initiative and strong implementation skills.
