Head of Analysis (f/d/m)

YOUR EXPERIENCE:

• Master or PhD degree in a related subject
• 7 years of experience in the energy trading business
• Proven track record in leading teams and projects
• Hands-on, cooperative leadership style
• Prepared to contribute to small but growing and evolving organization
• Experience in Renewables, Power and Gas markets and trading
• Experience in quantitative analysis/structuring, fundamental analysis, model development, model evaluation and testing, and digitalization is appreciated
• Experience in programming and IT project management desirable
• Fluent in English; German desirable

• Lead a team of more than 10 highly qualified analysts and meteorologists
• Support the other internal groups (like the Front Office Desks and Risk Management), the EWE Group and other EWE divisions with the full range of analysis functions
• Play a leading role in building the Green Energy trading; leverage existing strengths – the quant team, weather analysis and established long-term energy price scenarios
• Assume ownership of all quantitative models and their further developments: Forward Curves, PPAs, Swings, Storages etc.
• Significantly contribute to the trading and risk strategies as well as algo trading
• Set your own focus and priorities on existing and new fields of application
• Develop and improve the technical model platform and closely cooperate with DevOps team
• Be the owner of market data, negotiate with vendors and assure quality and accessibility in the data hub
