We are looking for an experienced Head of Analytical Lab to join the Healthcare team in our Plantation, FL office. In this leadership role, you will play a pivotal part in the design, commissioning, and daily operations of our fully equipped analytical laboratory. You will work cross-functionally with the design and engineering team and broader customers to establish, build, and manage the lab to the highest standards of excellence. Does this sound like you? What You'll Do: Assist with the commissioning and setup of a fully equipped analytical laboratory, including instrumentation such as HPLC, GC/MS, Viscometer, Osmometer, Automated Colony Counter, and other technologies. Establish, implement, and maintain laboratory standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent, compliant practices. Recruit, supervise, and develop a high-performing team. Oversee day-to-day laboratory operations, ensuring adherence to cGLP, cGMP, and other applicable regulations. Direct and support laboratory staff in the testing of APIs, excipients, in-process materials, finished products, stability samples and microbial monitoring. Guide method development and validation activities on new products. Promote a strong culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement. Manage laboratory scheduling and resource allocation. Serve as laboratory representative during internal and external audits and inspections. What You'll Need: Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutics, or a related scientific discipline. 8+ years of experience in an analytical laboratory environment; including at least 4+ years in cGLP, cGMP, or pharmaceutical testing. Hands-on experience with analytical instrumentation (e.g. HPLC, GC, Viscometer, Osmometer, Automated Colony Counter) and authoring SOPs. Strong people management skills with a proven ability to lead teams in fast-paced, results-driven environments. In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements, including cGLP, cGMP, ICH, FDA, and USP standards. Demonstrated success in managing and executing analytical testing with exceptional attention to detail. Proficiency with LIMS and chromatography data systems. Strong ownership, urgency, and drive. Excellent written, verbal, analytical and problem-solving skills.
