David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a leading financial services company who are looking to recruit a Head of APAC/ASIA. Position: Head of APAC/ASIA Location: APAC/Asia, Remote Employment type: Full-time About the role. The Head of Asia will be responsible for building, leading, and executing the company’s commercial strategy across the region. This is a senior leadership role requiring a hands-on operator with a strong track record in scaling FX/CFD businesses, driving revenue, and developing high-performing teams and partner networks. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Define and execute the APAC growth strategy across key markets including Southeast Asia and China Build, scale, and optimize regional operations, including local teams and infrastructure Drive revenue growth through client acquisition, deposits, and increased trading volume Develop, manage, and expand Introducing Broker (IB) and affiliate networks Lead, hire, and mentor regional business development and sales teams Establish and maintain strong relationships with key partners, KOLs, and institutional clients Identify new market opportunities and ensure strong competitive positioning Oversee regional P&L, budgeting, and performance targets Collaborate closely with senior leadership on global strategy and expansion initiatives. REQUIREMENTS: Native or fluent in English (C1 level), with strong proficiency in both written and spoken communication. Additional Asian languages considered a strong advantage 10+ years of experience within the FX/CFD or financial trading industry Proven track record in building and scaling operations across APAC/Asia Strong existing network across IBs, affiliates, and regional partners Demonstrated success in driving deposits, trading volume, and revenue growth Experience managing multi-country teams and regional structures Entrepreneurial mindset with strong commercial acumen Ability to operate both strategically and in a hands-on capacity.
