Partners Foundation are a specialist supported Housing Association based in Wigan but operating across the UK. We are looking for an experienced professional to help us improve the services we provide, lead on new developments and ensure our stock is well maintained and compliant.

In this role you will have the ability to shape services around tenants with physical and learning disabilities and mental health, making a genuine difference to theirs and their families lives.

Responsibilities

JOB ROLE

The postholder will lead a bespoke repairs, maintenance and development team; responsible for day to day repairs, planned and programmed works, voids, development projects, compliance and fire safety in supported housing. You will shape services and implement a right first time centred around our tenants.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensuring all properties owned or managed are maintained to the required standard to the satisfaction of our tenants and landlords.
  • Ensure properties are landlord and regulator compliant with all relevant legislation and tasks undertaken to achieve Health and Safety and fire regulation compliance.
  • Lead the management, organisation, structure and development of your team including performance, recruitment and development.
  • Ensure KPI’s are monitored, achieved and exceeding delivering a culture of continuous involvement.
  • Ensure work planning and budget management developing a 15 year cyclical works programme based on annual stock condition surveys.
  • Monitor existing policies and procedures, developing new procedures and amending and updating existing procedures as appropriate.
  • Ensuring that all required construction documentation, warranties and insurances are in place, reviewed and maintained.
