About the team You will be joining our high-performing Group Internal Audit (GIA) team that helps the Group pursue its objectives through impactful assurance and unique insights. GIA is a dynamic, proactive, respected team that combines deep domain expertise with commercial awareness to drive tailored risk and control improvements as the Group navigates enterprise transformation. The team uses leading audit tools, AI, and data capabilities to enhance the breadth, depth and speed of assurance and advice. Committed to continuous improvement and learning, team members are empowered to own audit outcomes and mature ways of working. The role can be based from our London, Wolverhampton or Chatham office with occasional travel between offices, we also operate a hybrid policy. What you will be doing? As Head of Audit - Technology and Change, you will lead GIA’s assurance across technology, data, change, and digital risk domains. This will include strategic audit planning, oversight of audit delivery, quality assurance, and frequent senior stakeholder interactions. Reporting directly to the Chief Internal Auditor, you will be part of the GIA leadership team and play a key role in shaping and delivering functional strategy, evolving professional practices, running day-to-day team operations, and influencing culture and behaviour. You will also have line management responsibilities. Your responsibilities will include: Leading the planning and prioritisation of audits within the domain, contributing to the development of the annual Group audit plan and audit universe. Reviewing and approve audit scopes and sign off all final audit reports within the domain Providing direction, challenge and oversight to Senior Audit Managers and Audit Managers throughout audit delivery. Build and maintain strong relationships with senior management and other assurance functions Fostering a supportive culture where people perform at their best; by leading with curiosity, coaching colleagues to grow, and demonstrating OSB’s leadership daily. We are looking for talented individuals who have the experience and knowledge set out below: Extensive experience leading internal audits of technology, cyber security, data, and technology change risks in cloud-native or hybrid environment within the UK financial services industry. Specialist knowledge of technology and information security governance, risk management, and control frameworks such as, for example, NIST, the CSA CCM, PCI DSS, DAMA DMBoK, or COBIT.
