Head of Banking (d/f/m)

As Head of Banking, you will be responsible for our partner banks and actively shape the product offerings on our marketplace. Whether it's strategic decisions, negotiations and commercials, market and competitive developments, current revenue management, or product innovations – all banking matters will converge with you and your team.

You'll do this with us

As Head of Banking, you are responsible for all matters concerning our banks. This includes, among other things, partner management, commercials, bank-specific KPIs, loan origination processes, and parts of product management.
In this role, you will be the central point of contact for the partner side as well as internally for our C-level and the various departments.
You will be responsible for the disciplinary and professional management of the banking team - together you will control the offer page for our loan comparison.
You will conduct strategic and commercial negotiations with our partner banks.
You will expand our network and your own within the banking sector. This involves continuous exchange and building trusting relationships. At the same time, you will also confidently conduct difficult conversations when necessary.
You will be responsible for the further development of our loan offerings. This requires a thorough understanding of the German financial and credit market, monitoring of relevant developments, and identifying opportunities for additional banking products. Operational implementation will be carried out in collaboration with your team.
You keep an eye on KPIs and performance, derive measures for bank management from them, and develop new models regarding revenue and business development. You work closely with our CEO and C-level executives.

That's you

You have a strong commercial understanding and can confidently classify KPIs, business cases and revenue relationships.
You bring relevant professional experience and successes in the banking context. You have held comparable positions in the banking/fintech sector, business development, or consulting.
Ideally, you have a successfully completed degree in business administration or a comparable field, or other relevant qualifications.
You possess excellent negotiation skills. You recognize the interests and motives of your counterpart, can read between the lines, and think in terms of long-term negotiation strategies rather than just individual deals.
You already have experience in managing employees and enjoy fostering and developing talent.
You are a generalist with a high level of comprehension: You quickly familiarize yourself with new and complex topics, can make well-founded decisions even with incomplete information, and prepare these for the C-level with a clear recommendation.
You are extroverted and a networker. You are present and communicative, and you enjoy proactively building business relationships through personal meetings, spontaneous conversations, and direct exchange.
You value a flexible way of working and are willing to travel for business (e.g., for personal appointments at partner banks).
You speak German at a native speaker level and English fluently.
