POSITION SUMMARY

The Head of Bids & Captures reports to the VP Growth, Industry and Corporate Affairs and is responsible for all aspects of new business capture and bid management. The Head of Bid & Captures is the senior Capture Leader within Thales defense business in Canada and leadership of the bid management team. The Head of Bids & Capture is responsible for all processes related to bid and capture management including the development of the financial offers and responsibility for the organization’s bid and capture budget and resources.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, project management, or a related field.
• Previous experience in business development, sales, or captures within relevant industries.
• Proven experience in bid management and proposal writing.
• Familiarity with project management and proposal development processes.
• Understanding of the industry and technical aspects relevant to the company’s products and services.
• Demonstrated experience leading and managing a team.
